or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying and Do My Own Thing
As I wait for my short story to get declined or accepted into the anthology I submitted it for, I have two WIP novel ideas that I’m organizing and working on simultaneously.
How? You might ask. I’ll be honest. Scrivener is great at letting you pick up right where you left off with a project. I am not sponsored by them, I just really like the program so far.
So here’s two quick summaries of two unhinged stories bouncing about in my head:
“Annie Eclectic Saves The World (Somehow…)”
Retired pro wrestler gets recruited by the government to infiltrate the cult her and her twin sister were raised in. Her sister got kidnapped and they’re threatening to cause mass chaos worldwide… why the hell do they want these two nimrods back?
“Death Signs Her Paycheck”
Ella needs a change. She’s stuck in her career, early into a 10 year contract to be a ‘Balancer’ for a secret branch of the UN full of bureaucracy, death and even more bureaucracy. Until one day a woman captivates her as she walks into the same bodega she’s in and both their lives change immensely.
